Fractured 5th metetarsal (Jones Break)

In late November I slip in a puddle of water and fractured my 5th metetarsal(Jones Break), I wore a cast and endured crutches for 10 weeks.
I finally had the cast removed and now I am wearing an ortho aircast removeable boot.
The podiatrist told me that these fractures typically take at least 27 weeks to heal.
I am a healthy 25 y/o, female who led a very active lifestyle before this injury. Is there anything I can do on my own to help speed up the healing process.
At home physical therapy, supplements, ANYTHING….Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

A bone stimulator can be helpful. Ask your doctor about this.
