Frequency/Duration of Shoulder Instability Exercises

Hoping someone can answer this question –

I need to get back onto my rotator cuff instability exercises – internal rotation, external rotation, scapula.

I know my reps have to be ENDURANCE-based – i.e. sets of many reps.

Can someone offer guidelines as to number of sets and reps for this area?

Thanks – I can’t remember what my PT prescribed for me in the past, and she has left the clinic, so I can’t call and ask her.

    Hi
Im just starting a rotator cuff stabilization programme myself.
I’ve been advised 3 sets of 10 on each exercise (which you stated) but most important is to concentrate on my posture the whole time, as soon as i feel it becoming hard to keep good posture i’ve done enough.
Im gonna give theraband a try too instead of the lying down weights like normal. i’ve heard good results from it.
    Hope this helps.
    Lee.
