Full Tear of The Distal Biceps Tendon
I am 37 years old and very athletic and physically fit.
I have a full thickness tear of the distal biceps tendon (it is torn at the elbow).
This happened over 4 weeks ago playing Ice Hockey.
Is there a time frame for having this tear repaired surgically?
I have heard mixed opinions, that I have waited too long…Please respond I am in distress!!Thank you,[email protected]

I have heard mixed opinions, that I have waited too long…: Please respond I am in distress!!: Thank you,: Andy: [email protected] I just found out I have distal biceps tendon tear and my Dr said to me that the longer I wait the harder it is to fix about 3 to 5weeks not longer, I have waited about 3 1/2 weeks I’m not going to wait however the recovery time is about 6 months thats a long time before therapy will start good luck
