groin

i think I pulled my groin about a five days ago. I’m going to the doctor in two days to get a complete diagnosis. Nonetheless I wanted to know what home treatments I could use. Is taking a hot bath a good idea?thanks

    I am 34 years old. I am a soccer player. I also do some tennis and some gym (lately a lot of swimming).I’ve had problems with muy left groin for more than two years now. I always get it hurt in soccer (stretch). I let it rest; I try to stretch. It works, but it comes back. The last two times I did rehab work and it helped. But even with that, it’s been two months (all I’ve done is swimming) and it has not healed. I need to know what exercises are safe (because I am also out of shape and cannot afford to just sit) and what rehab exercises are good. Thanks!
