Haglund’s deformity – “pump bump”

I have what I believe to be Haglund’s deformity.
No pain involved just an ugly RED bump on the back of my foot.
Is there anything I can use to make the redness go away – a “bleaching” cream possibly??
It stays red all the time even if I don’t wear shoes all day.
Thank you.

I would not recommend a bleaching cream for the chronic inflammation in that area. One day of not wearing a shoe is obviously not enough time for the area to calm down. You need more time, but keep in mind that shoes will re-irritate it.
