Hammer Toe
Immediately following bunion surgery and a titaniam implant, I had pain in the 2nd. toe with swelling under my toes.
I have complained about this to the podiatrist for 7 months.
I have now developed a hammer toe.
Is this common after having an arthritic joint removed?
What non-surgical measures are recommended?

Have you had an X ray? As far as commenting on if this is common or not, I really can’t. There are many variables which may or may not have importance. If you aren’t getting answers, ask your doctor directly or gat another opinion.
