hamstring “pull”

I “pulled” my hamstring last August. I was unable to run at all and limped for 2 weeks. I am still experiencing pain when walking, running and even minor pain while sitting. Is there any strengthening excercises to do or what advice do you have. Thanks

I pulled my hamstring playing softball, I can jog for a long period of time but when I sprint it hurts. Thanks for your help!!

Ok well this is even more fun. I pulled mine 1 week ago and didn’t do any research. I did some stretching last night before or softball game. I was able to jog so I figured I could smack the ball jog to first and get a pinch runner. Well when I made contact with the ball my hammy popped again. I have now done the reading but was wondering how much damage I did by pulling it twice in seven days?
