Hard deposit on left ankle
(2 discussions)
About two years ago I sprained my ankle badly.
Since then a hard lump has formed on the outside of my ankle.
It clicks frequently and is sometimes sore – do you think this is a calcium deposit? – Can they be removed?

I could tell you more with an X ray, but it certainly is possible that it is a bone callus or even a bone spur from the injury. If you see a podiatrist or orthopedist they can give you more information about your choices.

Recently have a small lump top of foot outer side near ankle. Pain throughout foot and sometimes running up thigh. My question could it be a slight fracture that was missed which now has calcium deposit? What to do now?
