“Heel” pain

(2 discussions)

I put “Heel” in quotes becasue the pain I have had is between my achillies tendon and my ankle, (below the ankle, closer to the heel).
Anyway its very painful.
I will have this pain for about a week then it will gradually go away, only to come back again in full force days/weeks later. It’s hard to walk when it hurts like that. It hurst to the touch when I rub/press on it or especially when I turn or twist my foot.
It does seem worse when I first get up in the morning, and when I’ve been sitting for any extended period of time (say at my desk at work).
(that pain occurs when I stand and begin to walk.
If you have any ideas on what causes this, I would appreciate it very much!
Thanks,EP
