heel pain and sometimes a slight burning sensation

The past 3 months I have had heel pain. I have tried almost all over the counter sole inserts. They help for a short while and the pain comes back. Sometimes I feel a slight burning sensation in my heel. I really don’t know what to do. I do wear cheap shoes which I know that doesn’t help but have no idea what my next step should be. In the morning when I get up my heels hurt alot. I live in Tennesse and have no idea where to get good shoes at. I have heard about Jensen’s shoes, proper fit, good feet store for Orthopaedic shoes and custom orthodics. I’m not sure if I should go that route. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me. Thank you

I recommend you either look in your phone directory for a podiatrist or ask friends for a referral. If you belong to an insurance plan you can call them and ask for a list of podiatrists in your area or possibly even search online. SHoes may be only part of the answer and I believe you never professional care. Good luck. Vivian A DPM
