A Chiropractor can treat a heel spur. The most common applications are to use a continuous UltraSound machine to help reduce the density of the bone spur. Then the use of corrective spinal manipulations to keep the body balanced, and relieve any undue pressure from the symptomatic heel. The ultimate goal is for the spur to be re-absorbed, but it is very difficult, and many times it becomes more of a problem for a Podiatrist.

: Can chiropractic treat heel spur pain? I don’t know if I have a heel spur but the pain is on the back of the heel, not the bottom–the lower part of the back of the heel. Would heat or cold help something like this or does it even sound like a heel spur? Thanks
