The heels and sides of both feet are black, cracked and itchy.
I am a diabetic.
Could I be allergic to the dye in my shoes?
I have the dermatologist baffled.
I only wear black shoes.
These are some butnot all of the questions that come to my mind. You might want to see a podiatrist. This can be due to a fungal infection. Has the dermatologist done a culture? As far as allergies go, I would need to see the shoes, know if you wear socks all the time, see if your socks have any stains etc.Is your blood sugar well controlled? Do your feet sweat a great deal? Are you of normal weight?
