I have a sore knee which hurts every time I push off of it I have been to serveral doctors who tell me It’s jumper’s knee or bone spurs. What could I do to lessen the pain with out surgery to continue playing basket ball.
The only way someone can tell you if you have bone spurs is if you were x-rayed. Jumpers knee is also known as patellar tendonitis. To home treat this I would consider OTC anti-inflammatories, ice, massage and stretch your quads. If this doesn’t work see a sportmedicine PT or chiro, orthos wont treat this. Continue to do all exercise that don’t hurt, use it don’t abuse it.
