Major in biology as most of you perquisites will be knocked out of the way. Chiropractic school requires all the premed courses that are necessary for medical school. Also, as DC Student mentioned, you choices will be chosen based on what you want out of school. Logan is an excellent school, went there myself. Forget Life, it's a terrible school and has lost it accreditation. I believe it regained it but I would steer clear. I will be honest, Chiropractic as a career is a poor decision. The cost of going to school versus the return is not worth it. You would be better off going to medical or dental school. It is very competitive on the outside of school. There seems to be a chiropractor on every corner and you are ALL competition to one another. Only about 25% of the population, unfortunately, utilizes our services. That means you and every other chiropractor are competing for that small market share. It causes chiropractors to attempt to treat things they have no business treating, causes them to do shady things to attract patients. I hate to say all of this but it is the truth. The schools will tell you otherwise as they want your money. Keep that in mind. Chiropractors are the number one defaulters on student loans; there is a reason for this. It because it is very hard to make it as a business in this field, reimbursement from health insurance is horrible and is getting worse. I am a successful chiropractor but each year income continues to go down. Do a lot of research before deciding. Chiropractic education is 8 academic years.
