Injury to achilles tendon

Hi, my question is this. About two weeks ago I had a thorn stab me in my achilles tendon.
It got infected, anyways I took antibiotics but, after the swelling went down there is a lump in it. Now I can’t walk fast even stretching causes pain.
Is this something that will heal with time? Or will exercisising make it worse?
