inside elbow pain

(2 discussions)

I have a shooting pain on the inside of my elbow.
It feels close to the skin istead of in the joint.
The pain reminds of the feeling of getting stuck with a needle when giving blood.
It has been happening for about a month and occassionally my entire elbow has a sharp pain that feels like it goes through the entire joint.
What type of doctor should I see for this pain?

This sounds like a problem with your Ulnar Nerve (the “funny bone” in your elbow}. It can get irritated from many things. An Orthopedist if the best specialist for you to see for this problem. Please let us know how you make out, and good luck.

I have this exact pain, I have yet to go to the doctors cause I’m unsure of what it is, however, it just came on one day when I was pulling back my hair
