If you have pain in your knee’s and your sport is jumping then your tendons and ligiments may be loose causing the knee to move more than it was meant to move and possibly in an in proper way. This will cause pain in the knee area because of the improper function of the knee. Injury massage can help the tendons with healing faster, make them less suceptable to possible further injury in the future. You should check on an injury massage therapist. If they can’t help you with your problem then they may be able to refer you to someone that can. Injury massage can ease and aliviate pain in the knee area. If that does not help you may have some trigger points in your posterior thigh muscles which can cause knee pain and dysfunction. A step further would be to see a doctor. Therapists when nationaly certified have an understanding of anatomy and how the body functions. Try injury or trigger point therapy massage first (which can be much less costly than other alternatives.)Repetative jumping puts stress on your knee joints and many other joints which can cause problems with the various tendons, ligiments and muscles that attached to them and or near them. I hope this has been of some help.
