knee
Hello. My knee makes a cracking sound every time I bend it. I assume its torn miniscus. It also hurts when I stand up from a kneeling position and from a sitting position. It also aches when I try to push against something (like when someone is holding my foot down while I try to straighten my leg.) Canyou give me any ideas on what this may be? Tendon, ligament? Although I don think it is a ligament. thanks!

I am going in for surgery on 6/22 for the same problem. I have a great deal of pain associated to what my orthapedic calls patellar femoral disorder. There are many helpful websites on the subject. Good luck with your problem.
