knee cap dislocation

my knee caps keep dislocating. I have two breg pto braces but all they do is pop back my knee cap in place. is there a way for me to tape my knees to prevent the dislocation.

: my knee caps keep dislocating. I have a good knee brace but it still keeps poping out and it has been doing this for 4 years but I havn’t had sergury. What kind of knee brace should I get to have this not happen anymore

Technically your knee is not dislocating if the brace pops it in… It is a subluxation. My knee used to do that all the time without a brace. And if the PTO brace keeps it from a dislocation it is doing the job it was designed for.
