Knee PCL and Compartment syndrome
2 years ago I fell heavily on my knee whilst playing football. Eventually, I had a MRI scan on my knee which showed “a possible tear of the PCL”. But, as the knee doesn’t give way the surgeon wasn’t interested.
I have since been diagnosed with compartment syndrome (same leg) and I am due an operation sometime soon.
Could the knee injury have caused the compartment syndrome ?
If so, will the problem re-occur if the knee isn’t fixed ??
