Thanks for the reply. I have made an appointment with a podiatrist, but I would like to have some advanced general information. It is felt, but not painful. I’ve no idea how long it has been there, but it is about the size of a quarter. I just want to know the possibilities. Thanks.Janet

I, also have discovered a knot on my instep. Help! Any ideas. It is like a small ganglion cyst.
