Lateral pelvic tilt

Went to a chiropracter who took some X-rays.Turns out my right hip is 8cm above my left hip, I’ve don’t some research and a theres very little info on this subject, one site says the only treatment is orthopedics. Can chiropractic care treat this and how many treatments would you beleive it would take? Also what muscles are causing this imbalance?

It’s probably 8MM not 8CM. This a very common finding and yes, orthotics is a good idea. They will add a lift to the orthotic on the lower side. This will help stabilise the pelvis. The chiropractor will then retrain the spine by performing a series of chiropractic adjustments to the spine. No way to tell the number of treatment, depends if you are interested in a corrective approach or just pain relief. Corrective care does take longer. Let us know what he says with regard to the number of treatments.
