Lisfranc Fracture

Broke my foot almost two years ago on a jetski and my life hasn’t been the same.
I am now presently walking in sneakers all the time and would like to get into some kind of sandals with support or flat shoes.
Only my sneakers with my orthotics in them are comfortable.
Will I ever be able to wear “normal shoes”?
What can I do to speed up the healing process.
I know that I need to loose some weight, but is there anything else I can do in the meantime to bring my foot back to normal?
I am often in pain and was basically told that I can’t do anything about it.
Please help!!!
Can I somehow strengten my broken foot?

You pose several difficult question that I unfortunately do not have a quick answer for. I would need to see your foot, the orthotics and watch you walk. I do not know what you can do at this point in time that will help, since there are many unanswered questions. You need to talk to your doctor or if that doesn’t work, get another opinion.
