LITTLE TOE EXTREME PAIN

I had surgery on both my little toes almost 3 months ago for bone spurs.
I still cannot wear a pair of shoes.
I have searched the net to try and find out what is wrong with my toes.
I hope you can help me.
I have a very small place on the side of my little toe (hardly bigger than pinpoint but smaller than a match head) that keeps me from wearing shoes.
I wore bedroom shoes for about a month after the surgery – even to work.
I have 2 pair of shoes where my toes do not touch the leather.
I work in an office and it is hard to walk around to work.
I tried a pumice stone rubbing as gently as I could.
This does not even look like a corn.
No hard or discolored skin.
After rubbing with the pumice stone the place still showing looks like the head of a boil but this is not a boil either.
Short of going back to the specialist can you give me any idea what this is and how serious it may be?
Please…!!!

Why haven’t you been back to your doctor? I would think it incumbent upon the operating doctor to see about this.
