loose bodies in elbow
I’m a 15 yr. old.
I’m very competitive in gymnastics.
I recently found out I need Arthroscopy surgery on my elbow because about 3 years ago a chipped a bone in my elbow and now it floats around.
I also tore a peice of cartiledge off too.
I think part of this problem is because I have hyperextended my elbow a few good times.
I plan on going back to gymnastics.
Should I wear a brace or someting to prevent this from happening again?

I’m sure your doctor will prescribe physical therapy after your surgery and that is a question you can ask them. As they will be able to physically see your elbow and determine your needs after your rehab.
