Lower back/Buttock

Can anyone help? I am a runner who injured a disc in LH sudie of my lower back 5 months ago while lifting. The pain was excruciating and I had trouble walking. I had physio which included strenghtening exercises and choripractic treatment. Although pain and sciatica has gone in LH leg and back I occasionally have a dull ache in my lower back and a pulling sensation in by buttock which radiates to my hip. I have since found that my RH leg is shorter than the LH one. Has anyone had similar problems and can suggest a remedy?

HI, if you leg is really shorter than the other you require some orthotics so that your gait is even,an uneven gait will cause back and buttock pain and eventully will affect your knees if uncorrected i suggest you either go back to the physio, see a sports therapist or a qualified podiatrist.

    regards paul
