lump underneath the skin
hi there on sunday night 4/23/2006i felt a small bump underneath my skin on my left arm about dime sized. now being tuesday it has grown to quarter size and is a slightly noticeable lump. I do not recall banging it on anything (since I thought it might be a slight fracture) and all I do is carry folders with it being my left arm so injury is unlikely. all I can think it might be is some sort of cyst, or some sort of parasite (cat recently discovered to have roundworm 10 days ago), or a quick growing cancer (god forbid lol). can u help me I can’t go to the doctor till insurance is approved? if its an infection can I treat it with penicillin? what should I do besides see a dr as soon as I can? should I worry about this?very worried girlcc

Worried girl… I think this is the wrong site for you to be asking such a question. Go to a free clinic in your area and get it looked at.

a lump underneath the armpit could be an ingrown hair if you shave. Sometimes it is painful other times it isn’t.

well I’m 14 yrs of age had I’ve had a lump underneath my arm for a couple of months I’ve been really woried but its getting smaller now so I dunno what to do shall I go to my docter about it or shall I just leave it alone
