MAJOR BUMMER BODY

I have been in sports since i was 5 and so naturaly they are my life. I play water polo and so i am constanly egg beating all the time! My knees hurt really bad on the inside of my leg and sometimes when i am egg beating my right hip starts to hurt. but recently my lower back has been giving me alot of problems. It hurts almost all the time. The only way it seems to stop hurting is if i lay on my stomach and shift my hips up and pop this one virtibra, then i’m fine for about 30 minutes to an hour, but it always comes back. I also ice it at night sometimes to numb it. I’ve also managed to wear out my shoulders swimming so they both don’t glide when i rotate them, then just pop and grind the whole way through, stretching them doesn’t seem to help and we are just about to start swim season. any ideas???

i would suggest getting a massage and then to the chiropractor immediately after. i suggest the massage (you only really need a 20-30 minute appointment for your back) so you can make sure all your muscles are warm and relaxed so your spinal adjustment will be as easy and complete as possible, without the restriction of stressed muscles. then do some good back stretches regularly. the leg pain is probably just stemming from your back.
