Me and my dodgy groin

nearly 2 yrs ago whilst playing football I ruptured a groin muscle, my intial treatment was just to rest it hope it would sort itself out but alas 20 months later I still unable to play football without any pain. I have seen a physio on many occasions now and although friction therapy worked intially, I/we are unable to locate the pain so friction is no good now. The pain is most evident whenever I push my knees together against a pillow I feel a pain which increases with force, or any movement of my bad leg agross my good leg (crossin my leg over). I am getting v.frustated as my physio has now talked about seeing a specialist and I am not minted, the second physio to do so. The pain is very localised high up in my left groin I have history of injuries on my left side but I think most significantly my left side of my lower back which recently has not been good. Anybody been or are in the same boat RSVP
