Hello, I know exactly how you feel. I been having upper back and neck pain, as well as left shoulder and upper chest pain since 6/04. I been through several medical tests and found that I have 4 buldging disks in my upper back/neck area. When I turn my neck to the left side, the pain radiates on the left side of my shoulder blade as well as my left upper chest area. This was caused by lifting at my job, but according to my workmans comp doctors, they stated that I must have other medical concerns because buldging disks do not cause pain. According to my pcp, it can cause pain. I been through series of tests, including stress test for my heart, nothing except for the disks justify my awful pain. I can’t even walk through a store for 15min. without my back cramping up on me. I currently go to physical therapy for exercising and massages which will relieve the pain temporarily, but the problem never goes away. I expierienced panic attacks and am very depressed because I can’t get any true answers nor help to cure this problem.

HOLY COW. I THOUGHT IT WAS ONLY ME. YEAH, WHENEVER I BREATHE, IT FEELS LIKE EITHER SOMETHING IS SEPARATING OR LIKE MY SHOULDER BLADE IS LIKE RAKING OVER MY RIBCAGE OR SOMETHING. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, BUT IF YOU FIND ANYTHING OUT, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

I have mid upper back and shoulder blade pain that comes and goes. I also have severe scoliosis and I thought maybe it was caused by that, but I also re injured my low back bending in the car in the back seat to lift a computer on the job. I never thought it could be related to that because thats not where the immediate pain was when I re injured myself. But since my arms were extended trying to put the computer in the middle of my back seat, I guess it really could have been from that. Does anyone else with this type of pain have scoliosis?
