Middle Toe Stabbing Burning Pain

I occassionally get a stabbing burning pain in the back of my toe, it seems to be the 2nd and 3rd toe next to my big toe.
It feels like someone is stabbing me with a hot poker.
It don’t wear big heels as that aggravates it, and sometimes even when I am barefoot it starts.
It became so painful that I had to take a pain killer the other day it was so bad.
It is in the back of the toe, and I literally can’t walk.
HELP!!!!

Without examining your foot I can not be certain. What you are describing sounds alot like a Morton’s neuroma. Women seem to get them more than men. Treatments can vary from injections of cortisone, alcohol sclerosing, orthotics, padding, and surgery. You should see a podiatrist for more information.
