Can you explain this x-ray result and give me advise on the medication. Thank You.Lumbosacral AP/LAT: Anterior osteophytes are seen from L2 to L5 Vertebral height and intervertebral disc spaces are maintained.
Pedicles are intact.Impresssion: Mild Degenerative Changes, Lumbar Spine

I have recently gotten an x-ray of my back due to chronic pain. The results were as followed can you please explain this to me in laman terms. I have schmorls nodes within superior endplates of t-12,L1,L2,and L3 intervertebral disk space narrowing and endplate sclerosis in L5-S1. There is an anterior osteophyte formation seen at L4and L5.

my result came out, there is mild generalized vertebral body endplate indentation. mild loss of disc space height is noted at L5-S1. Impression: mild degenerative changes in the lumbar spine. What this mean? Do I need surgery or live under medication. Would you do me the favor, and tell me, what this mean.

My father was diagnosed with a degenerative spine that was severe and he had to have a morphine pump implanted into his lower right abdomen that released morphine directly to his spine. I don’t know what the exact clinical terms for his spinal deterioration was and he died 2 years ago so I can’t find out. I had a car wreck December 30. I was having some pretty bad back pain and so I went to the Dr. They did an MRI on my spine and I just got the results in today. The Dr. said that I have mild degenerative changes in my lumbar spine. I am 22. My father was 47 when he died and they diagnosed him about 5 years before that. Is this something that I need to worry about?
