Last night, the same injury happened to my son. Is there an answer to this question?What exactly is the miniscus? is it a tendon? ligament? just cartiledge? my doctor said I might of tore it and I would just like to know what it is.
what options are there for someone who has a torn lateral miniscus and is in high school sports? is it a good idea to keep playing basketball an doing things like marching band?
my wife had miniscus knee surgery 6 mos ago and she is still in pain and moving poorly. xray indicates no particular problem. Doc says keep going to therapy but it is not helping much. Is there any other treatment ?
