my child has cracked skin around the toe area .
my 7 year old son has dry cracked skin around his toes,and his toenails are rigged and a light brown color.
They do not itch or burn,i have takin him to our doctor about it,he just gave him a cream that did not help him.
What else should I try?

Has your son been x-rayed? Sometimes (rarely) the growth plate can be fractured, and that might require immobilization in aan extreme instance. You need to communicate all of the continuing problem to your doctor. Until then, use common sense, ice, elevation and no barefoot!Good luck. Vivian A DPM
