my sisters broken collar bone

they sent her home with a broken collar bone . no brace no arm throw nothing. she was in a herendous car accident and sustain certain injuries as a result of it. the broken collar bone was one of them and it wasn’t a clean break her bone is sticking out. what can we do to assist her

I have broken my collar bone and would like to know if there is anything better or different to use than sling. Please advice me on any other possibilities to heal the breakage.

This may be alittle late. Do you mean it was sticking out of her skin? Or do you mean making a lump under the skin? If the bone broke the skin, they should of taken care of that at the hospital. If it’s just a lump or knot, that’s common, I guess. That’s strange that they didn’t give her some kind of brace or sling. I broke my left collar bone Aug 20th, and they gave me a sling, and shoulder strap.
