My Son is Having a Flat Foot
Hi,
My son, who is 20 yrs old is having a flat foot on his left foot. The ‘arch’ is completely missing.Me and my wife only realised it about a year ago when we read an article in the newspaper .
He is a sportsman and now has to restrict his involment because he is having pain on his knee.
He is also facing difficulty in running because his left foot cannot roll ( land on the heel and push with the fingers ) . Due to the absencce of the arch, he has to land flat when running . If it is medically possible, I am determine to correct this. Please help !

You did not say where you are from, but if you live in the United States or Canada, you should have him see a podiatrist. There is very likely help for his flat feet.
