There is a 1/3000000 chance that you might have a complication following a neck adjustment. Now, thats a very very small chance of something going wrong. The chance of complications and even death is around 1/300000 for simply taking ibuprofen. Think of the risk of other medications and surgery.Chiropractic has proved itself to be very safe and very effective for the treatment of many health conditions. Have no fear and do not listen to what some medical doctors are saying with regard to the subject. The fact is the risk is low. Most complications of neck adjustments or rather “manipulations” fall in the hands of other professions such as physical therapists. They lack the training to perform these treatments. Typically when a complication arises its labeled as “chiropractic adjustment” when chiropractic had nothing to do with it. It was performed by someone else who lacks the training and who performed a “manipulation”. Think about the number of chiropractic adjustments to the neck that has gone on over the past 100 years. We’re talking millions. Now how often have turned on the local news or CNN and heard that a chiropractor injured someone? Probably never. Listen, like with anything there are risks but have no fear as chiropractic has proven to be very safe.

I don’t know what to call it, but I guess its like a dislocated neck. I have been tired for years now, and when I sleep at night my body does not get rested. I’m not comfortable sitting, standing, or laying down. I seem to have a permenent head ache, and my muscles are so tight all the time that it feels like I am burning calories watching TV. I just feel spent. My sinus is full all the time, and I noticed when I stretch my neck hard, and for long periods of time, that mucus will break up in my head and neck that it changes my voice so much that if you wernt looking at me face to face, you wouldn’t recognize me. So I guess my question is, do these symtoms go with a “dislocated” neck, or do I maybe have other medical issues going on? Although I didn’t have these problems before I was injured 10 years ago?
