Neck crepitus

I went to see a chiropractor six months ago for mid back pain. For reasons I do not know she adjusted my neck. Now I have this terrible crackling, graveling, popping noise everytime I turn my head.
I have been to two other chiropractors with no help. Do I have to live with this forever? Thank you

Cindy,The same thing happened to me. In my case I had low back pain and thought I would try a chiropractor. At the promotional visit there was no neck adjustment. The next visit he “cracked” my neck. he did’nt ask me and did’nt tell me. I stopped further treatments. Like you I have grinding, scraping sounds and soreness. I have had physical therapy but it did not help. I fear it will never go away.Jack M
