Neck pain – Spine or Tissue?
I fell a couple of weeks ago and had a concussion.
Since, I have been getting a growing pain in my neck. The pain is not there when touching my ear to my shoulder on either side.
The pain is definitely there when turning my chin toward either shoulder.
The pain is substantial. So what I am trying to discern is if this is tendon or muscle strain, or if it is spinal.

Dear Richard,If you fell hard enough to cause a concussion you likely have also injured your neck. You probably have injury to the muscles, tendons and ligaments that support the spinal bones. The spinal bones cover or protect the spinal cord and nerves. If the spinal bones are out of there normal position, then there will be problems that can impact the spinal nerves. Please fell free to visit as online for a better understanding of your health problems.
