neck-base of skull pain
Over the last year or so I’ve experienced more frequent and more intense pain in my upper neck. Sometimes a sense of weakness in that area also. I’ve had some neck and schoulder issues (an occasional stiff neck, numbness in hands and wrists, buring sensations in the skin on my upper back. I complained so much in the early 90’s that my Doc at time had X-rays done. The diagnosis was cervical spondylosis. What is it and ss that what causing my neck pain?

I have had an X-ray but the doctor said it is spondulits.
Sometimes the pain is very intense & I cannot move. It comes & goes in spasms. I use diclofenac sodium gel application & also take the same tablets.
I have been informes that consuming Diclo-sod can be dangerous as it has many side effects.Can this problem be permanently cured.
Please advise
