nerve damag after epidural, dropfoot

(2 discussions)

I gave birth 3 weeks ago by C-section, something went wrong with the epidural/spinal and I have almost no feeling in my right leg. I have physiotherapy and I’m worried about the dropfoot, it is improving a bit but I can’t use the calves muscles, can’t stand on my toes etc..etc..hopefully with fysiotherapy it will improve. Do you know if nerves usually recover from a trauma like this? The neurologist told me to be patient and to continue with fysiotherapy. I’m depressed, I used to run, ski and play tennis, now I can’t even take care of the baby properly.. I also still have lots of pain.. Thank you for your time.
