Nerves in fingers and feet

when i wake up each morning, all my fingers feel ceased up and it takes a few minutes of clenching etc to free them up. This has been going on for a few months and i dont think im trapping my arms or anything in my sleep. Over the last couple of days there has also been a constant slight numbness in my little finger and ring finger on the inside (palm-side) of both hands.

any ideas on why, or what i can do to remedy?

(also a few months ago, i damaged some nerves in my feet [i think it was a ‘neuropraxia’] and experienced some loss of sensation along the top of my feet in a line running from my big toe to ankle on both feet – this hasnt fully recovered – could this be linked to my fingers in some way?)
