Non healing ankel wound
I have a deep non healing ankel wound.
In 1991 I had a fractured ankel.
Years later (last Nov) a screw erupted through the skin.
I have gone to the wound care center with no results.
They refered me to an orthopedic Dr. to remove the 8 screws and plate.
It is now July and I must go in on Wed for an MRA.
The circulation seems to be ok, it just won’t heal and the wound keeps getting bigger and bigger.
What about magnet therapy or any other suggestions.

Magnets probably won’t help if the screw is protruding. The doctor needs to remove the hardware. You should discuss this with the orthopedist.
