NON-RELIEVED PAIN IN FOOT

I HAD A SURGERY THAT THE DOCTOR WAS SUPPOSED TO DO A DEBRIVEMENT AND INSTEAD HE TOOK OUT THE SECOND METATARSAL HEAD. WITH THIS GONE THE THIRD METATARSAL HEAD DROPED AND DEFORMED SO THEY REMOVED IT. NOW MY FOOT STAYS SWOLLEN, BRUSIED, AND VERY PAINFULL. THE FOURTH TOE IS NOW HURTING AND WITH THE BIG TOE ALSO. THERE IS ALSO A KNOT STICKING OUT THE SIDE OF THE BIG TOE NOW. I CAN’T TAKE THE PAIN ANYMORE AND AM IN DIRE NEED OF FINDING SOMEONE TO HELP ME. IS THERE ANYTHING YOU KNOW THAT CAN BE DONE OR AM I JUST DOOMED TO BE IN PAIN FOR EVER.

I am sorry that you are having all these problems. You did not give much in the way of background, so I can’t be sure exactly. WHat you are describing is an unfortunate outcome if a single metatrsal head is removed. There is now an imbalance and the other metatarsal heads get out of alignment. If you are not getting the answers you would like, get another opinion.
