Numbness in feet

(2 discussions)

Hi – can anyone help me with this?

I’ve been going to the gym and running for some years, although less so over the past 2 years. Whenever I run or use the cross-trainer in the gym, I rapidly lose the feeling in my toes. At first there is a tingling sensation, but then I lose all sensation completely. Strangely, if I use the reverse movement on the cross trainer, the feeling in my feet returns!

I’ve recently been diagnosed as suffering with asthma – I don’t know how long I’ve had it. Could the two things be related?

hi — i had this happen to me too, maybe its the same thing, it may be because your calf muscles are to tight from not stretching, what i did is:

on both feet together, went on a vertical surface and kept both feet on the surface while i pushed my whole body, legs and all forwards.
