Numbness in toes following Grade III Ankle Sprain

Hi I had a grade 3 ankle sprain (inversion) and now 4 weeks post sprain, I have numbness in my second toe and when you drag your finger down the toe and foot, there is a pulling sensation, is that normal?

No, it is not “normal.” If you had a MRI, then a tendonitis might have been noted as well. You need to talk to your doctor about this.

Thank you for your repsonse Doctor, I saw my ortho/pod today and an MRI could be in my future, he spoke of the possiblity of cartlidge being “seared” off… Thanks AgainKristie
