Orthotics

How long to custom-made orthotics usually last.
I’ve had mine for almost two years and all of a sudden I’ve having burning and heel and arch pain.
I have upped by fitness level and started climbing stairs.My pod. suggested I get running shoes.
He said my orthotics are not worn out.
