Osgood Schlater’s disease
My husband is 45 and has Osgood Schlater’s disease. He has had this since he was a boy.
He’s had it in a cast several times and they did all they could in the 1970’s.
It seems to come and go, but now has come back. His knee is swollen and it really hurts.
Is there anything that he can be doing to relieve the pain and swelling? He is a plumber and has to work, so he can’t really restrict movement. Thanks for any help you can give.

Osgood Schlatter's disease involves the tibial tubercle of the knee. I am a foot doctor and do not treat this condition. He needs to see an orthopedist.
