how long those it take for the knee to heal when you have osgoode schlatter. I am 13 and my knees been hurting for 5 weeks. it hasn’t been improving

Do you play sports? Are you still running and jumping? If you are, you need to stop and stop running and jumping. Osgood Schlaters disease is caused by a forceful contraction of the patella tendon, thus pulling on the tibia causing changing of the bone. Icing might help too.

I am 13 and my knees been hurting for 5 weeks. it hasn’t been improving: I don’t no man, I am 14, and I’ve had it since I was 12, so it stays with you for a while. the doctors said that it stays with you until you stop growing, because it is on some sort of growth plate, so you got a while before it leaves…..reply back if you want
