Overlapping toe(s)
(2 discussions)
I have an overlapping toe on my right foot. I was born this way. (My second toe overlaps with my big toe just a little bit) What do you call this when any of your toes overlap? And what causes this> It is not a big problem, but I wear sandals quite a bit and when someone sees my right foot, which has the overlapping toes wonders how can I walk with the toes overlap. (I walk perfectly) One of my co-workers was wondering this last year, and her daughter, was trying to streighten them out, and they went back to overlapping. Is this a serious problem or not?

Without examining you, I can not say. It is possibly a muscle spasm or nerve problem

I have been told I have a Sensory PN and Axonal in nature a few years ago. Can that do this to your digits? Thank you for your reply.~Kewanee
